Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in carpentry and construction, with a focus on ensuring that jobs run smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and work details.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Arrive on time and perform all assigned tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform punch list items and assist where needed to finalize projects.
- Engage in final trim labor, attic-floor laying, and other carpentry tasks.
- Use power tools safely and effectively.
- Lay out cabinet plans and install final trim.
- Assist in preparing for remodeling projects.
- Conduct service calls as instructed.
- Complete tasks that may vary from day to day.
Qualifications:
- Preferred background in carpentry and new construction.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
